When Priyanka felt insignificant...
She is hot, sensuous and desirable. Chopra is the girl of the
moment.
But the lady has a calmer side to her that whispered us a quite
incident. Doesn't she feel on top-of-the-world with 2 back-to-back
hits? "Well, yes. Mujhse Shaadi Karogi was fun. Sonia in Aitraaz
was a risqué role and I managed to pull it off. It feels
great". 2004 has been a high all the way. But are there times
when she felt low, I ask? She takes a long breath, runs her fingers
through her poker hair and says, "Yes!" And when was that...?
"I was recently shooting at Rohtang Pass at Manali for Yakeen.
I was standing on this cliff alone and around me was this endless
expanse of land. I looked down to notice a stream running. Beside
the river was a child seated on a mule with an old man standing
alongside. Going by the way he was coughing and sneezing, the kid
looked unwell. In a moment, that old man took off his muffler and
woollies and wrapped it around the child. And let me remind you
that Manali was freezing at 3 degree Celsius. He braved the cold
to keep the kid warm. That incident made me feel utterly insignificant.
It suddenly hit me that I hadn't done enough for my people"
Chopra concludes.
